Louisiana Renaissance Festival

The Brobdingnagian Bards (pron. brAHb'ding-näg-EE-en) are The Original Celtic Renaissance music duo from Austin, Texas. They were voted the #1 Novelty Band in the 2004 Austin Music Awards. They creatively combine traditional Scotch-Irish songs with contemporary pub music to create an inspired evening of Celtic fun.

A Renaissance Festival in Louisiana? You bet there is! This is quickly turning into one of our favorite Renaissance Festivals. The site gets more beautiful every year. It's situated around a small lake with lots of beautiful old buildings and a brilliant cast that really gets out there interacting with the patrons.
