The Brobdingnagian
Bards (pron. brAHb'ding-näg-EE-en)
are The Original Celtic Renaissance music duo from Austin, Texas. They
were voted the #2 Folk Band in the 2003 Austin Music Awards and #1 Novelty Band in the 2004 Austin Music Awards. They creatively
combine traditional Scotch-Irish songs with contemporary pub music to
create an inspired evening of Celtic fun.
Many moons ago,
the Cactus Cafe was our refuge from the rain when we performed on the South Mall at U.T.. It's still a great venue and
the best place in Austin to go to listen to great Celtic music. All
the great Celtic artists perform there from Clandestine to Ed
Miller, Danu to Eric Bogle. Now it's our turn!
