Another Rockin' Weekend at I-Con
Got back from a most interesting weekend. It began with Andrew and I heading out for New York. There was a bit beefed up security, but we made it through fairly nicely. Then as we waited for the plane, Andrew dumped a big wake-up call to me.

Tehe *beaming* I'm pretty happy. Since I'm leaving early for Christmas, I got my presents from my half of my folks (the other half being in Italy). So I got two KILLER presents, a beautiful, warm coat for my the cold weather of Europe (looks like the highs in The Netherlands and Switzerland are in the 40s), AND I got an Archos Gmini!

I picked up the scooper and emptied the litterbox into the trash can. It was now clean for use. I then placed the trash can back under the sink, making sure the baby locks would keep out my little tykes. All was good.

I lucked out today...rather, a friend lucked out. I try to discourage people from forwarding email jokes and such to me. I just don't have the time or interest. I pretty much put up with only one good friend who does it. All the others.
Brilliant business idea for you
Just got done talking to my boss. She's waiting for the Cable folks to call her so she can make a mad dash home to get her cable installed. Her comment, 'What do you think I have a wife at home?!' What on earth is with this idiotic trend to maintain hours from 8-5 or whatever.
Celtic Music Ramblings
The world is a funny place. Celtic music scene even funnier. I love playing Celtic Folk music, and I do my best to emphasize 'Celtic folk'. The reason is that there are a lot of people out there who are traditionalists. They think when you say 'celtic music', you mean reels and jigs. Enya is not Celtic music. Okay, I can live with that.
Christmas in Italy
I consider myself a very fortunate person. In 1985, my mother moved to Italy to work on an American Military Base in Italy. I had some great summer vacations, and I spent my Christmas in Italy a few times, sometimes even selling flowers in the markets of Padova, Italy. After graduation, trips grew less. Last Winter, I had another wonderful Christmas in Italy, and I want to take you on the journey with me. Without further adieu, I bring you my Christmas in Italy.
Compulsive spending... A second chance to combat growing debt
Last night, I scanned the first drawing I've ever made of a dragon. It came out pretty cool. So I put together a t-shirt with it. I'm gonna make a few changes over the next couple days to darken up the lines. I'd love to get your feedback on it though.

Taking Pictures of the Perfect Sunset
It's odd to think that up North, people yesterday had record levels of snow, but here in Texas, high of 65, students were out in shorts, the air was fresh and clean, and God was hard at work painting one of the most-beautiful sunsets imaginable with pink and bluish-purple streaks opposite the sunset. So beautiful, in fact, that I was forced to pull off to the side of the road to avoid an accident. It was just too incredible to miss!
The You've Got Mail Phenomena
I always thought it was kinda silly how more common the You've Got Mail phenomena has really taken the internet by storm with couples finding their "true loves" online! But as I start chatting with more people online, I realize it's not that odd and wonder how many other people are as easy as I am online!?
