Like a Ren Faire's Greatest Hits

Celtic music comes in all shapes and sizes. Our music is no different. Much of it is composed of traditional Irish songs, like "An Irish Lullaby", "Johnny Jump Up", and "Wild Rover", but with scores of songs on our play list, our music runs the gammut. In fact, some of our most popular Celtic songs on mp3.com are original Celtic instrumentals, like "Tolkien (The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings)", "Shepherd's Serenade", "Carolan's Concerto", & "(The Princess Bride) Buttercup's Lament". But just when you think you've got our music pinned down, we put out a another CD like our next album, A Faire To Remember that it is now on-sale.

In July 2001, the Brobdingnagian Bards released a CD on mp3.com with a preview of this album. It was a 4-song EP named after the title track, Do Virgins Taste Better. The song immediately became the 32nd most popular song on ALL MP3.com. Now, it continues to be one of the most popular folk songs.

This hit was quickly followed by "Donald, Where's Your Trousers? Medley" and "Scarborough Faire". Both songs continue to top the charts, and the excitement is building as the Brobdingnagian Bards prepare to release more tracks from their fourth album.

A Faire To Remember is now available and is destined to be one of the most enjoyable albums you will hear this year. There are seventeen tracks that include The Bards selection of the Top 10 Renaissance Faire songs of all time. These include such hits as: "Greensleeves", "Scarborough Faire", "Do Virgins Taste Better Medley", "The Mermaid Song", "Whiskey in the Jar", "The Scotsman", "Wild Rover", and more.

On top of that are the Brobdingnagian Bards personal favorites which include their Barenaked Ladies parody and hit song, "If I Had A Million Ducats", plus, "Lusty Young Smith", Tom Lehrer's "Irish Ballad", and "A Fairy Story". Add to that their rousing pub version of "Donald, Where's Your Trousers/What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor" and you immediately have something to look forward to.

But the Bards love to keep you rolling, that's why they added their unique interpretation of the Monty Python song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". Are you looking forward to the CD yet?

Well, now the CD is just a click away. Plus, when ye buy the album you'll get a free "Real Men Wear Kilts" bumper sticker that is sweeping the nation. So order today!
